• "Design and build takes 3x as long as you expect."
• Break down problem into parts
• Prototyping goals
  • In October, take most difficult part, prototype (breadboard, pseudocode, styrofoam) - JUST GET SOME HARDWARE
  • Prototyping: 2 or 3 choices, test them (quick and dirty), decide
  • By December, we have built prototypes and already ordered stuff
